STATE SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers open the 4-A state swimming and diving championships today in Gillette.

Head coach Larry White says the Broncs have had a pretty good year heading into state.

Prelims begin today with the finals tomorrow morning.

STATE WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will be at the all-class state wrestling championships in Casper 17 broncs will compete matches begin tomorrow morning at 9:00

1-A / 2-A REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams open up east regional play today in Newcastle.

In the girls bracket the Lady Rams open with Southeast this morning at 9:00 and the Lady Eagles open with Lingle at 4:00.

In the boys bracket the Eagles will play Lingle at noon and the Rams will take on Pine Bluffs tonight at 7:00.

The 1-A East regional is being played in Douglas the NSI Wolves open with Midwest tonight at 5:30 and the A/C Lady Panthers open with Midwest at tonight at 7:00.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs head to Cheyenne tomorrow to begin their final weekend of regular season play.

Head coach Derek Bissitt says the season has really flown by since the first of the year.

If the Lady Broncs beat Central tomorrow they can do no worse than 2nd in the conference and get an automatic bid into the state tournament.

We will broadcast both games live for you starting tomorrow night at Cheyenne Central at 7:30 on 95.9 FM and Saturday at 1:30 they will follow the Broncs on AM 14-10 KWYO.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs host the Cheyenne schools they look like they will place 3rd in the conference race but must win both this weekend.

Head coach Mike Ibach says they are building good momentum coming off their performance last Friday in
Gillette.

They play Central at 7:30 tomorrow night you can hear it on AM 14-10 KWYO. Saturday their game with East has changed to start at 11:45 that's game one of our double header on KWYO.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals wrap up the regular season this weekend at home with games against Eastern Wyoming tomorrow night and 5:30 and 7:30.

The Generals will also play a single game with Laramie county Saturday night at 5:30.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat the the Air Force academy last night 63-61. Next up for the Pokes is a road game to UNLV Saturday night.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams will be in Gillette for their final regular season meet Saturday. They close out the indoor season with the state meet in two weeks also in the Razor city.

Last week 28 athletes competed in the Simplot games in Pocatello, Idaho with Dylan Morin making the finals in the 3200 meters and Hunter Vineyard in the high jump , Head coach Art Bauers says it was great to see their
success.

And he says the season in getting ready to close out.

And after some team members being off for the last two weekends they are ready to get back out on the track.
