STATE SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers met their team goal of a top three finish at the state swimming and diving championships over the weekend.

The 200 medley relay team set a new school record on their way to winning the state title all the team members were awarded with all state honors. Team members were Gretchen Dougherty, Emily Speigelberg, Payton Brilz and MacKenzie Dougherty.

Other all state performers included Emily Speigelberg state champion in the 100 Backstroke an event where she also set a new school record.

Gretchen Dougherty all stated in two events with second place finishes in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Breatstroke, MacKenzie Dougherty all stated in the 100 Butterfly with a third place finish and Payton Brilz all-stated in the 200 and 500 freestyle events with second place finishes in both events.

Lady Bronc Head coach Brent Moore was voted as the 4-A coach of the year and assistant coach Jory Turk was voted as 4-A assistant coach of the year.

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams finished the volleyball season as the 2-A runner up the Lady Rams made it to the title match and lost in five games to Kemmerer.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs will play Cheyenne East in the 4-A semi finals Friday night.

The Broncs shut out Laramie in the quarter finals Friday 33-0 head coach Don Julian says after a frustrating start the Broncs got rolling.

The top four seeds all won and Julian says that was no surprise.The game will kickoff at 6:00 Friday night at Homer Scott stadium.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams blew out Lyman Friday to advance to the next round Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the wrap-up.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys are back at home after a week off and will host Fresno state Saturday night broadcast time will be at 7:00 with kickoff at 8:15.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos coming off their bye week will play at San Diego Sunday afternoon.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams both were winners in their season opening games this past weekend.

Tomorrow night they host games with the Rocky Mountain college JV's game times will be at 5:30 and 7:30.

COWBOY / COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball cowboys host Tennessee-Martin Friday night.

The Cowgirls will be in Sheridan Friday night to play Northern Montana tip off is at 8:00, tickets can still be purchased on the University of Wyoming athletics web site.
