STATE SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open the state tournament in Rock Springs today.
The Broncs will open this morning at 11:00 against Rock Springs Head coach Kevin Riser's pep talk before today's opener.
The Lady Broncs will open the tournament this afternoon at 3:30 against Green River.
STATE TRACK AND FIELD - The Wyoming high school state track and field championships begin today in Casper at Kelly Walsh high school.
TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will spend the next three weeks playing road games. They will be in Billings Saturday to play games with the Billings Halos and Miles City, Montana. Sunday they play a double header in Powell.
SHERIDAN COLLEGE - The Sheridan college booster club holds the first of three big fund raising events tomorrow when they host their spring golf tournament at the Powder Horn. On June 1st they host their annual flea market at the Hoffman dome.
Public vendors can rent booth space to sell their wares as well, booth space costs 25 dollars which includes a table an chairs only 40 spaces are available.
Sheridan college AD Steve Smiley says this is their 4th annual event. To reserve a booth space contact Barb Williams at the college by calling 674-6446 ex: 4008.
Their final fund raising event will be the annual Wyoming / Montana all-star basketball games which will be played in the dome Friday night June 7th.
Smiley's 2013 recruiting class is almost wrapped up and he says they had pretty good success in finding quality players this spring.
The college held graduation this past Saturday and Smiley was pleased to announce all of the Generals sophomores graduated and will be moving onto play next year.
ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost the final game of their series in Chicago last night.
