BRONC / LADY BRONC STATE SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams made it out of the first round at the state tournament yesterday and will play this afternoon in the semi finals.

The Lady Broncs blasted Riverton 5-0 and had a sixth goal called off because of an offside call.

After the win we talked with Head coach Tom Racette he says the journey of the 2012 Lady Broncs continues.

They controlled the pace of play early and kept the pressure on the wolverines through out the match.

They led 1-0 at halftime then Senior Rickie Ryan tallied her second goal to make it 2-0 and all that pressure finally got to Riverton and the ball started flying into their net.

They will play Gillette this afternoon in the semi finals the Camels beat Natrona county 2-1 to advance and Racette says it doesn't get any better than a Sheridan / Gillette post season match-up.

The broncs dominated their game with Riverton but had a hard time finding the net before a second half goal pushed the Broncs through to the semi finals.

The match was suspended for 30 minutes in the second half because of lightning but it was the Broncs that were in charge and got through to face Laramie this afternoon.
