STATE SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIPS - The Bronc soccer team will open the state soccer tournament today against Rock Springs at the Big Horn Equestrian center at 11:30.

It will be the first time the two teams have seen each other this year as Bronc's Head coach Kevin Riser talks about today opponent.

And Riser says all they've been talking to the team about is making sure they get off to fast starts over the next three days.

STATE TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS - The state track and field championships open this morning in Casper.

Sheridan high school will have 24 athletes competing Head coach Art Bauers says that's a pretty good number considering the amount of underclassemen they had this spring.

For the last three days they been working on getting the athletes in the right mental frame of mind to do well in their events and used a lot of goal setting.

And Bauers says it the last meet of the year so they just have to let it go over the next three
days.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 5-1 on the season weather permitting the troops are scheduled to play a road double header with the Billings Blue Jays Saturday afternoon.

The next home date for the Troops will be a double header with Douglas on June 3rd.
