WYOMING CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL - State championship football games finished up the fall sports season over the weekend Dubois took the 6-man title beating Snake River 54-30, Southeast beat Lusk for the 1-A championship 40-6.

Lyman beat Lovell 22-20 in the 2-A game, Powell beat Star Valley 13-10 to win the 3-A title and the
4-A title went to Natrona county the Mustangs crushed Gillette 35-7.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The high school winter sports season starts after school today the Sheridan Bronc basketball team takes the court with new Head coach Gale Smith.

The Broncs don't return much varsity experience to the team this year last season the roster was dominated with seniors.

This year's team will be untested but talented and Smith says they lack varsity experience but believes the broncs will be able to hold their own.

And he says this year's seniors have to step up early and take a leadership role.

The Lady Broncs will join the Broncs hosting the season opener when they host Green River Friday, November 30th.

BRONC WRESTLING - Tyson Shatto is taking over the bronc head wrestling coaching duties this year the Broncs will be in the wrestling room today.

LADY GENERALS - The Sheridan college Lady Generals took three games last week at a tournament at the Air Force Academy this week they host a two day tournament Friday and Saturday.

GENERALS - The Generals split two games in Twin Falls, Idaho over the weekend the big game was against 12th ranked .onrioe college of New York, Monroe beat the Generals at the buzzer 69-67.

This week the Generals play at a tournament at Northwest college in Powell Friday and Saturday they come home for a single game against Eastern Wyoming next Tuesday then join the Lady Generals as the host teams for the annual Sheridan Lions club Thanksgiving classic.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys took their season opener 62-42 over Western state Saturday night. this week the Pokes host a three day tournament at the Double "AA" starting Wednesday night. All three Cowboy games will tip at 7:00 and can be heard live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls blew out Idaho 86-53, Sheridan's Kayla Woodward had 14 points and Tongue River's Fallon Lewis had 9 points. Next up for the Cowgirls is a home game with Denver Friday.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys beat New Mexico 28-23 for their second straight win, the Pokes play at UNLV Saturday afternoon then end their season with a home game against San Diego state on the 24th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos defense put the hammer on the Carolina Panthers Sunday as the Broncos posted a 36-14 win. This week the Broncos are back at home taking on San Diego.
