STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL / 2012 WINTER SPORTS BEGIN MONDAY

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL - It's state championship football weekend in Laramie and for the 4th consecutive year it looks like snow will be in the forecast.

The 6-Man and 3-A state title games will be played today with temperatures in the 50's. That changes tomorrow with snow and temps in the low 20's as the 2-A title will start the day off at 10:00 followed by the 1-A final and 4-A championship at 4:00.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The high school winter sports season starts after school Monday the Sheridan Bronc basketball team will have a new coach taking over as the new season begins.

Longtime Bronc assistant coach Gale Smith takes over this year and says he's excited to get the Broncs on the court Monday.

The Broncs will have an entire new varsity look this year as none of the players aw much varsity time last year, they are young and talented but lack 4-A varsity experience.

LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Lady Broncs open their season Monday as well Sean Yeager is back as the Lady Broncs Head coach.

Both teams open the season hosting a double header with Green River November 30th.

BRONC WRESTLING - Tyson Shatto is taking over the Bronc head wrestling coaching duties this year the Broncs will be in the Wrestling room Monday.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play at home tomorrow night against Western state the Cowboy pregame will start at 7:30 with kickoff at 8:00 live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play at New Mexico tomorrow afternoon Cowboy pregame at 12:30 with kickoff at 1:30 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play at Carolina Sunday it's an early broadcast with the pregame show live at 9:05 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies will hold a news conference at Coors field today introducing Walt Weiss as the next Manager of the Rockies.
