State 2-A and 4-A Regional Hoops begin today

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys played at Utah state Wednesday night the Aggies beat the Pokes 65-54. The Cowboys end the regular season at home Saturday afternoon against Colorado state.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls end their regular season Friday night at CSU the men's and women's Mountain West conference tournament starts next week in Las Vegas.

2-A STATE HOOPS - The Tongue River Lady Eagles and the Big Horn Rams open the state 2-A basketball tournament starting today in Casper.

The Lady Eagles will play Thermopolis in their first round game at 10:30 this morning we will have it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

Head coach Diane Moser says keeping emotions in check is the key to winning state titles.

They face Thermopolis today in the first round they beat the bobcats in their only meeting of the year and that was back in December.

The Rams will play Rocky Mountain at 9:00 tonight in their first round game we will have it live for you on 87.7 FM.

Head coach Ryan Alley says that defense will be the key to the Rams success this week.

4-A EAST REGIONAL HOOPS - The Broncs and Lady Broncs are in Cheyenne this week for their regional tournament.

The Broncs will open tonight at 8:30 in an elimination game with Cheyenne Central that game will be live on 14-10 KWYO Shane Parker will have the play by play.

The Lady Broncs will play in the semi finals tomorrow night at 7:00 against the winner of tonight's game Laramie / Cheyenne Central game.

STATE INDOOR TRACK - The indoor track season ends this weekend with the state championships in Gillette beginning tomorrow.

SPRING SPORTS - The spring outdoor track season and high school soccer season begin with the first day of practice Monday.
