STATE SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams finished up their season's Saturday at the state tournament in Rock Springs.
The Broncs lost in the semi finals to Gillette on penalty kicks and they came back Saturday and ended up 3rd with a 2-0 win over Cheyenne Central in the consolation final.
The broncs lost the state title game last spring on penalty kicks and fell again in the semi finals on penalties again this year head coach Kevin Riser says the penalty kick shootout is not the way any team wants to end a match.
The Lady Broncs lost in the semi finals to Cheyenne East and played Laramie Saturday in the consolation final and lost 4-0.
The Buffalo Bison won the boys 3-A state soccer title the Lady Bison finished 3rd.
OFF SEASON WORKOUTS - Now it's onto the off season Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says the students will stay busy but they try and balance that with family time as well.
AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers and Jets had weekend games rained out
The Troopers are 4-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play Head coach Ben Phillips.
The Troopers will be in Gillette for a Memorial day weekend tournament which starts Friday and runs through Monday.
The Sheridan Jets will host a double header Saturday with Newcastle first game of the double header will be at 1:00.
Trooper baseball camp for all Sheridan county Little League and Webb Wright baseball players will be held at Thorne-Rider stadium June 6th,7th and 8th.
They will take registration at the stadium at 8:00 on the first day of the camp.
