SPRING SPORTS OPENERS TODAY / COWGIRLS SURVIVE AND ADVANCE

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams open the regular season today against Riverton.

The Broncs will play at home the Lady Broncs play at Riverton JV's play at 4:00 the varsity go at 6:00.

Lady Bronc Head coach Tom Racette says the youthful Lady Broncs will get a test today. And their opponent will be much like the Lady Broncs an unknown commodity.

Broncs Head coach Kevin Riser says the biggest thing the Broncs can to in the match this evening in play hard and compete. And he says they expect good competition with the Wolverines tonight.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams open their season at the Casper "Earlybird" invitational tomorrow.

SHS track coach Art Bauers says they won't be at full strength and their focus is for the athlete to put in a good day's work.

TROOPER / JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan American legion baseball will host their annual player / parent meeting next week at Sheridan high school.

The meeting will take place next Wednesday, March 20th at 6:00 pm in the Sheridan high school cafeteria all Jets and Troopers players and parents are asked to attend.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls came back from 14 down in the 2nd half and beat Colorado state 60-58 last night in the MWC tournament.

They play in the semi finals this afternoon against Fresno state we will have it live for starting with the Cowgirl pregame show at 3:00 and the tip at 3:30 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
