BRONC SOCCER COLLEGE SIGNEES - In an unusual event yesterday six Sheridan Bronc soccer players signed to play college soccer next season with the same school.
The "Sheridan six" will all be student / athletes the South Dakota school of mines this fall.
They are seniors Hunter Reece, Braden Drell, Sam LeTempt, Cole Smith, Gabe Dahmke and former Bronc Cody Schellinger who graduated from Sheridan high school in 2010 and from Sheridan college this spring and will join his former teammates on the field once again.
We sat down to visit with all the players and Head coach Kevin Riser Wednesday afternoon.
The South Dakota school of mines soccer program will play it's initial season next year, Bronc senior Sam LeTempt is the one that got the ball rolling and it all fell into place for all six players.
Sam went onto say he and his teammates have been playing the sport together since their elementary school days and it's neat that they get to go onto college and continue playing together.
Bronc Head coach Kevin Riser says that when kids at Sheridan high school get to move on to college it's a great source of pride for everyone.
Dnd Riser says this is an unusual circumstance to have six players from the same high school program go to the same college program at the same time.
One of the six Hunter Reece says it great for him to be going to the school of mines with so many of his teammates.
And as they get ready to end the regular season tomorrow against Gillette he says the Broncs are playing pretty good soccer right now.
Cody Schellinger graduated from Sheridan high school in 2010 and this spring from Sheridan college he's been an assistant coach for the Broncs the last two years.
He says he always wanted to play college soccer and now he gets his chance as he was already going to the school of mines this fall and now gets his chance to play college soccer.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play Gillette in the regular season finale at home tomorrow the boys match will start at 4:00 and the girls at 6:00.
TRACK AND FIELD - The final meet of the track and field regular season is tomorrow in Gillette. Next weekend track Regionals will be held Cheyenne and the three day state championships begin May 17th in Casper.
SHS GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers are scheduled to play tomorrow in Laramie and Saturday in Cody, they will also host their own invitational next Tuesday.
The spring golf season ends at the two day conference tournament in Casper starting Monday, May 14th.
ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies got a three-run walk off home run in the 9th inning from Jason Giambi and beat the LA Dodgers 8-5 Wednesday afternoon taking two out of three games in the series.
They are off tonight and open a home weekend series with Atlanta tomorrow night you can hear the game live starting at 6:05 on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM.
