Bronc Raith Durham and the WYO All stars beat Montana 92-77

WYOMING ALL-STAR HOOPS - The Wyoming and Montana All-stars split their games in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college Friday night.

The Montana girls got off to a fast start and ran away from the Wyoming girls building up a 50-29 lead at the half and cruised to a 94-65 victory.

They play again tonight in Billings tipoff is at 6:00 you can hear the game live on 14-10 KWYO pregame starts at 5:30.

The Wyoming boys led nearly the whole way Friday night and beat Montana 92-77. It was the first win in Sheridan for the Wyoming boys since 2002.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 11-4 overall they host two games with the Torrington Tigers tonight the first game is scheduled for 6:00.

The big games will be Sunday when they host two conference games with Gillette Head coach Ben Phillips.

The first pitch of the double header will be tossed out 1:00 we will be broadcasting the game one live on 14-10 KWYO.

WYOMING / MONTANA ALL-STAR BASKETBALL - The first two games of the annual Wyoming / Montana high school all star basketball series will be played tomorrow night at Sheridan college.

We sat down with several of the players and got their feelings on being on the team as they get ready to take on Montana this weekend.

The Sheridan Lady Broncs have two players on the team Kayla Woodward who will play at Wyoming this fall and Brianna Smith who will play at Sheridan college.

TROOPERS TAKE TWO ON THE ROAD

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers ran their record to 11-4 overall with a double header sweep in Powell yesterday.

They took the opener 9-4 and the second game 5-4. The Troops open their youth trooper baseball camp this morning at Thorne-Rider stadium.

The camp is open to all Webb Wright players the camp opens at 9:00 they will be taking registration at Thorne-Rider before the camp opens this morning.

They host two with the Torrington Tigers Friday night and then two the Gillette Roughriders Sunday at 1:00 and 3:00 we will be broadcasting game one live on 14-10 KWYO.

TROOPER BASEBALL / SIMPSON AWARDS / BASKETBALL / SC VOLLEYBALL

SHERIDAN TROOPERS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play a road double header in Powell today they are 9-4 overall head coach Ben Phillips says they have mixed results.

They will play two in Powell tonight after losing two in Rapid City Sunday and Phillips says it gives them a chance at a little redemption after two straight losses.

The Troops have a busy week with six games this week and Trooper camp opening tomorrow morning.

Sheridan Storm U-13 / U-14 Soccer

The Sheridan Storm U13/U14 boys finished the 2011 spring soccer season with only 1 loss. Unfortunately, it came in the Gold Division State championship game against the U14 Riverton team.

The game ended in a shootout to determine the winner and we came up short. It was the 5th season in a row the majority of the boys ( which are U13 players ) had played in the state championship game and it was the first time they lost.

They did end the season ranked number 1 in the State of Wyoming on the gotsoccer web site.We are very proud of these boys and how they played all season.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers took two games from Douglas Friday before dropping a pair in Rapid City yesterday.

The Troops beat up Douglas Friday night at Thorne-Rider stadium sweeping the double header 11-2 and 17-1. They played yesterday in Rapid City and dropped two games against Post #320 by scores of 14-10 and 14-4.

The Troops will play a road double header in Powell tomorrow before coming home for two games with Torrington Friday.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL - Sheridan high school will be out this week for the summer and as athletes get ready for the off season we sat down with Sheridan high school football coach and Activities Director Don Julian to talk about this past school year.

It was a busy spring in 2011 with Sheridan hosting regional track and field and state soccer on back to back weekends.

Over all the sports year started and ended with a Bronc state championship.
