SHS SOCCER OPENS FRIDAY / TRACK AND FIELD SATURDAY

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams open the regular season tomorrow against Riverton.

The Broncs will play at home the Lady Broncs play at Riverton JV's play at 4:00 the varsity go at 6:00.

Lady Bronc Head coach Tom Racette says the preseason has gone well. And he says the coaches have had to make the tough decisions this past week and half splitting the players into varsity and JV teams.

Broncs Head coach Kevin Riser says he and his staff have been working hard as well splitting up the broncs as well. And Riser says he wants to see the Broncs take the field with lots of energy tomorrow.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams open their season at the Casper "Earlybird" invitational Saturday.

SHS track coach Art Bauers says it's been back to the basics for the athletes the last ten days.

And he says improved weather means getting outside and everyone has been in good spirits being able to get out on the track.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - Sheridan American Legion baseball will host their annual player / parent meeting next week at Sheridan high school.

The meeting will take place next Wednesday March 20th at 6:00 pm in the Sheridan high school cafeteria all Jets and Troopers players and parents are asked to attend.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost 59-46 against New Mexico last night and were eliminated from the Mountain West conference tournament.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls open the tournament tonight against Colorado state pregame is at 9:00 tip at 9:30 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
