WESTON JOHNSON FUNDRAISER - The Sheridan high school football coaches along with the SHS booster club will be kicking off a fund raising event Thursday night at the Sheridan high school basketball games to benefit football assistant coach Weston Johnson as he battles Melanoma.
Head coach Don Julian has close ties with Johnson as he was part of the recruiting process that brought Johnson to UW to play football.
Julian says Johnson's battle with Melanoma started years ago when he was still in high school in Colorado.
They have set up a raffle and will also have on on-line auction of tremendous items which include lots of NFL items with ties to Wyoming and UW.
They will kickoff selling raffle tickets Thursday night and the on-line auction will open in early April at Sheridanmedia.com.
