BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer end the regular season this evening hosting a conference double header with Gillette the Broncs play at 4:00, the girls varsity match will go at 6:00.
The Lady Broncs are still in the hunt for an automatic bid into the state tournament but they must win tonight, Head coach Mallery Marshall says tonight's match should be very competitive.
The Broncs will finish conference play 4th and will have a play in game next Thursday at their regional tournament head coach Kevin riser says today's match with Gillette will be a good tune up before that play in game.
TRACK AND FIELD - The high school track and field regular season ends today for the Broncs and Lady Broncs with Gillette hosting the final invitational of the regular season, events get underway at noon.
Regional track will be held at Cheyenne South high school next week, Big Horn, Tongue River, Arvada/Clearmont and NSI track athletes will have their regional meet in Torrington
TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their home opener Sunday at Thorne-Rider stadium. They host a double header with the Billings Royals the first game will start at 1:00.
ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost at Texas Rangers 5-0 last night. Tonight they continue their seven game road trip opening a series at Cincinnati, the first pitch is at 5:10 live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
YOUTH SOCCER - The 10th annual "Snickers Cup" youth soccer tournament will be played at the Big Horn Equestrian center tomorrow and Sunday. 125 youth teams from Wyoming , Montana and South Dakota will participate this weekend.
SC BASKETBALL - Sheridan college Generals Head basketball coach Steve Smiley says they have a good handle on their 2014 recruiting class and says may has been a good month so far for the program.
WYOMING ALL-STAR BASKETBALL - The last time we talked with smiley the Wyoming boys basketball all-star team wasn't set now they have the ten that will make up this year's roster that will take on Montana in June.
Three players from Sheridan county will play for team Wyoming this summer From Tongue River high school Sarah Rawlings and from Sheridan high school Maddy McClure and Reed Ritterbusch.
The boys and girls all-star games will be played in Sheridan Friday night June 13th and Saturday the 14th up in Billings at Rocky Mountain college.
