SHERIDAN COLLEGE GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals basketball team will open their season tonight with a road game up to Little Big Horn Community college.

Generals Head coach Steve Smiley says after five weeks of practice it's nice to finally have a game to play. And what will the Head coach be looking for in his team tonight.

It's very rare to have a north sub region game on the schedule to open the season and for one exception the Generals have beaten Little Big Horn every time they've played Smiley says it's all out for the Generals tonight.

Your chance to see the Generals in action will happen Friday and Saturday when they host their own tournament at the Hoffman dome with a couple of pretty good teams coming into play.

Game times will be at 5:30 and 7:30 Friday and 3:00 and 5:00 on Saturday.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - The Wyoming state football championships will be played in Laramie Friday and Saturday. there will be two games Friday with Snake River playing Hanna-Elk mountain in the 6-man game at noon.

Then the Buffalo Bison will take on the Douglas Bearcats in the 3-A game at 3:00.

There will be three games Saturday starting with the Big Horn Rams playing Thermopolis for the 2-A state title 10:00. The rams beat Thermop during the regular season 42-7.

The Sheridan Broncs will play Natrona county in the 4-A state championship game at 4:00 the Broncs beat NC three weeks ago 18-17.

We will broadcast both championship games live Saturday on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM, the First Federal pregame show for the Big Horn / Thermopolis game will start at 9:30 with Kickoff at 10:00.

We will have the Broncs and NC with the First Federal pregame show at 3:30 with kickoff at at 4:00.

WYOMING COWBOYS FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost are back out on the road this week they play at UNLV Saturday night.

The game broadcast will follow the Sheridan Bronc title game on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time will be at 7:00.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos get back on the field Sunday after a bye week. they will play Kansas City Sunday afternoon at home.
