GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play at Miles City, Montana tonight both teams currently hold the lead in the north sub region.

The generals go after wins 19 and 20 this week Head coach Steve Smiley says the regular season is starting to run short.

The Generals beat both Miles and Dawson at home and Smiley expects tougher games this week starting tonight in Miles City.

And he says it won't be a picnic in Glendive Sunday either.

The Generals have two home games remaining the Lady Generals have one. They both host games with Eastern Wyoming on the 25th and the Generals have one single game with Laramie county on the 26th.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - In other college basketball action the Wyoming Cowboys will play their first game without head coach Heath Schroyer tonight. Schroyer was fired Monday afternoon tonight they play at New Mexico.

They've lost 8 out of 9 and 7 in a row and have only one win since the new year began.

You can hear tonight's game live on AM 141-0 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time is at 5:30 with the tip at 6:00.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs are 17-0 and 5-0 in conference play and will head out for road games in Casper and Laramie this week.

We will broadcast both Lady Bronc games for you live Friday night they tip off at 7:00 in Casper on 95.9 FM and Saturday afternoon in Laramie at 3:00 on our sister station 105.9 FM.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs host KW Friday night at 7:30 we will have it live for you on AM 14-10 KWYO, Saturday they host Laramie at 3:30 that game will be broadcast on 95.9 FM.

TONGUE RIVER / BIG HORN BASKETBALL - The Tongue River basketball teams games with Big Horn Friday in Dayton varsity games are scheduled for 4:30 and 6:00.

The Eagles and Lady eagles will then play on the road at Wright Saturday with the Rams and Lady Rams at home against Greybull.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers close out the regular season tomorrow night with a dual at Gillette then it's on to the 4-A East regional at Cheyenne East next week.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers will be at their conference meet in Casper beginning tomorrow. The state championships are in Gillette and open on February 24th..

INDOOR TRACK - The Sheridan high school indoor track teams are preparing for the Simplot games. All qualifiers will head the this national event in Pocatello, Idaho beginning February 17th.

YOUTH TRAVELING SOCCER - The Sheridan county soccer association will host spring traveling youth soccer registration tomorrow night.

Registration is open to all boys and girls ages 9-14. the sign-ups will take play tomorrow evening between 4:30 and 7:00 at the YMCA.

all players must have birth certificates, a small photo and the 85.00 dollar registration fee.

YOUTH GIRLS TRAVELING BASKETBALL - The annual Thumbuddy girls youth basketball tournament will be played in Sheridan next week February 19th and 20th at Sheridan high school.

The tournament is open to all girls 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams.

The registration deadline for teams is this Saturday all entries must be post marked by Saturday the address for entries is 1807 Paintbrush drive in Sheridan.

WYOMING STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - A decision will come today and where the Wyoming state football championships will be played over the next few years.

Sheridan put in a bid for championship weekend the only bid to compete with the University of Wyoming which hosted the games the last two years.

The Wyoming high school activities association board will vote on the site at their meeting today in Casper.
