THE SHERIDAN BRONCS HOST A WRESTLING DUAL TONIGHT

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will have the first of two home duals tonight when the host Billings West, JV matches will begin at 5:00 with varsity matches scheduled to begin at 6:00.

First year Bronc Head coach Scott Cleland says the Broncs have had a good start their their season.

They are coming off a 6th place finish at the Rapid City invitational where they had one champion and four placers and Cleland says that was a very good outcome.

Senior Clay Carter has won both tournaments this season and he's wrestling at the top of his game tight now.

Tonight the face a very good Billings West team and Cleland expects an exciting dual with two closely matched teams.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams head to Green River this week for the annual "Flaming Gorge Classic" tournament Thursday through Saturday.

TR / BH BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams will be competing in the 2-A East / West tournament in Fremont county Friday and Saturday

NSI BASKETBALL - There was some local basketball action Monday night as the NSI Wolves dropped a non-conference game against Moorcroft 71-63.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams split games at Northwest college to end the first half of their season.

Fallon Lewis led four players in double figures as the Lady Generals won in Powell 74-61 and end the first half with a record of 11-2.

The Generals dropped their first game of the year losing to the Trappers 79-69 and end the first half
12-1.

The Generals resume their schedule on January 7th with a road game at Laramie county while the Lady Generals open 2012 at a tournament in Montana January 6th.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys will be in action tonight as they host UC-Irvine. We will have the game for you live on KWYO and 95.9 FM pregame begins at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

The Pokes are 9-1 and have the best record in the MWC and have won seven straight the team found out Monday that Senior Adam Waddell from Cody was named the MWC player of the week for his play in their win at Colorado he is the first Cowboy to win that award since February of 2009.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys end their season Saturday facing Temple in the New Mexico Bowl we will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYI and 95.9 FM. The broadcast will begin with the Cowboy pregame show at 11:00 with kickoff scheduled for noon.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos lead the Oakland Raiders by one game in the AFC West division at 8-5 overall. Sunday the Broncos host the New England Patriots we will have the game live on KWYO pregame starts at 12:05 with kickoff at 2:15.
