BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Broncs are finished up with their December schedule and will continue working out through the break to make sure they stay in top shape.
Taylor Speigelberg and Nick Groshart have already qualified in multiple events for the state championships and had another good outing last Saturday at the Riverton invitational Head coach Larry White.
White says getting qualified early has it's pros and cons but they are pleased that both guys accomplished qualifying so early.
This season the Broncs have multiple divers out which hasn't been the case for the last several year's and White says they had a good weekend in Cody and Riverton.
And with the holiday break underway the broncs aren't taking any time off as they continue to build on their early season success.
The Broncs resume their schedule with a home dual against Buffalo Thursday, January 6th.
STATE HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL RANKINGS - The latest Wyoming high school basketball rankings are out and our ranked Sheridan county teams remain in solid position.
The Sheridan Lady Broncs are still number one with their 7-0 record they are followed by Casper Natrona, Cheyenne Central, Gillette and Laramie.
In 3-A the Buffalo Lady Bison remain in the top five at number two overall.
In class 2-A the Big Horn Lady Rams and Tongue River Lady Eagles remain 2nd and 3rd behind the Lovell girls.
And in the boys rankings the Big Horn rams are 2nd behind Lovell for the 4th straight week and in the 3-A rankings the Buffalo Bison remain number one.
BRONCS / LADY BRONCS - The Broncs and the Lady Broncs will be back in action January 6th when they travel to play in a three day tournament in Riverton. They'll play Evanston, Star Valley and Riverton.
RAMS / LADY RAMS - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams both open the new year with road games at Wright January 7th.
EAGLES / LADY EAGLES - The Tongue River teams open 2011 with home games against Moorcroft on January 7th.
BRONC WRESTLING - Sheridan Bronc wrestlers are off until January 7th when the compete in the Shane Shatto invite in Douglas.
WYOMING COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls are 8-3 overall after winning at the University of Montana last night. The Cowgirls built a 37-17 halftime lead and went onto to take the win 73-51.
Cheyenne's Hillary Carlson led the Cowgirls with 22 points and Laramie's Aubrey Vandiver had 21.
WYOMING COWBOYS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys look to extend their three game winning streak tonight when they host Wisconsin-Green Bay.
