4-A GOLF STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - The Sheridan high school golfers are the 2010 4-A state golf champions they beat Evanston by 11 shots to take the title.

The Broncs led by six shots after the first day and extended that lead Saturday on their way to the title.

Bronc junior Kamrin Allen won the medalist honors with teammate Taylor Reed right behind him in second place.

Toby Nicholas also finished in the top ten coming in 9th.

BH / TR STATE GOLF - The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers played at their state tournament in Lusk. The Rams finished 8th and the Eagles were 9th.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football lost heart breaker in the energy bowl Friday. The game had five lead changes before it was settled in overtime with Gillette taking the game 27-24.

Gillette drove the length of the field in the closing minute and kicked a field goal to send the game into overtime.

The Broncs fumbled on their first possession of OT and Gillette made them pay with the winning field goal.

Broncs Head coach Don Julian says it was shame the Broncs couldn't put it off because they played so well.

The Broncs head out on the road this week they play at Laramie Friday evening.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn rams hammered Glenrock Friday 46-0 to set up a battle of unbeatens this week in Sheridan.

The Rams scored on their 4th play and ran away from the Herders, Head coach Bert Dow.

The Rams are 4-0 and will host 4-0 Thermopolis Friday afternoon at Homer Scott stadium in a battle of the top two teams in 2-A.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles lost 7-6 against Burns Friday. The Eagles will be on the road this week at Wright.

BISON FOOTBALL - The Buffalo Bison lost their first game of the season dropping a 22-7 game at Douglas Friday. This week the Bison are back out on the road at Riverton.

NSI FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves were idle last week this week the Wolves will play at Southeast.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys opened MWC play Saturday and lost 20-14 against Air Force this week the Pokes step out of conference play to play at the Univeristy of Toledo.

REGIONAL TENNIS - The North regional tennis tournament finished up Saturday with the Sheridan Lady Broncs taking the Regional title.Noelle Golinvaux won the number one singles, Rachel Wood was 4th in number two singles.

Haley King and Emily Berry took the number one doubles, GiGi Ruskowski and Haley Lligocki took the number two doubles and the team of Cameron Street and Keri Bulkey took 2nd in number three doubles.

The Broncs failed to win any matches and did not score. The state tennis championships will open Thursday in Cheyenne.

SHS VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team went 2-3 at the Casper invitational tournament.

BH VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams volleyball team went 1-4 at the Casper tournament.

TR VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles lost two road matches at Wright and Sundance.

X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran at the Rapid City invitational on Friday. The Lady Broncs finished 10th as a team their top finisher was Lauren Buyan in 30th place.

The Broncs finished 3rd and their top finisher was Dylan Morin in 3rd place.
