BRONC FOOTBALL / BASKETBALL - Sheridan Bronc seniors Dawson Osborn and Raith Durham had good days yesterday.

Osborn made it official signing on to play football at Carroll college in Helena, Montana.

Sheridan college basketball coach Steve Smiley also announced yesterday the 2011 Wyoming high school all-star basketball team which includes Durham.

Osborn says it's great to be going to such a great program Carroll has won six national NAIA titles since 2002.

And he says it feels great to be able to play college football. He says it's nice to have the process over and is looking forward to starting college in the fall.

The 2011 Wyoming high school all-star basketball team was announced yesterday by Sheridan college men's basketball coach Steve Smiley.

Two Sheridan county players made the team including Sheridan Bronc point guard Raith Durham he says it's a great honor to be named to the team.

And he's looking forward to being teammates with the guys he played against for three years in high school.

Big Horn high school senior Colby Wollenman was also named to the 2011 all-state team.

Wollenman helped the Rams have an unbeaten season capped off with winning the 2011 2-A state championship last month.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play conference games with Laramie and Casper Kelly Walsh tonight and tomorrow.

The broncs will play on the road while the Lady Broncs host Laramie the JV's play at 4:00 varsity at 6:00 tomorrow's games with KW will be played at 10:00 and noon.

RAMS / LADY RAMS TRACK - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams will compete at a meet in Spearfish, South Dakota today.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES TRACK - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles track team will compete at an invitational in Lovell tomorrow.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will open their spring tournament schedule weather permitting today at an invitational tournament in Worland.

RAMS / EAGLES GOLF - The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers have a tournament scheduled today at Kendrick golf course.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies opened a series in Pittsburgh yesterday with a 7-1 victory their 4th straight. They continue the series in Pittsburgh through the weekend.
