This past weekend the Sheridan College Rodeo team competed in Torrington, WY.
The men’s team finished 8th this weekend, with 250 points, not where we wanted to finish, it was a tough weekend. All 5 of our bullriders bucked off their bulls as did all 30 bullriders entered, so that really hurt us, not gaining any points in that event.
BUT, we had three saddle bronc riders place and make it back to the short round.

Taygen scored 51 points in the short round and placed 5th in that round and 5th in the average. Taygen is sitting 4th in the standings with 310 points. Taygen is still leading the bullriding standings, with teammate CJ Davidson sitting in 3rd place.
Bareback rider Shane Stevens from Wyoming, scored 72 points in the long round to place 5th. Shane rode well in the short round and scored 64 points to place 6th in the round and ended up 5th in the averge. Shane is sitting in the top 15.
