Big victories highlight local basketball action

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne East last night 70-44. Dexter Currington led the Broncs in scoring with 21 points. This afternoon, the Broncs host Cheyenne Central -- tip-off is at 1:30, and you can hear the game live on AM 1410 KWYO.

LADY BRONCS BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs lost at East 56-37 last night. They continue the road swing today at Cheyenne Central.

BIG HORN BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams swept victories from Moorcroft last night. The Lady Rams stay unbeaten with a 49-15 win. The Rams knocked off the Wolves 66-47.

TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles beat Sundance in Dayton last night. The Lady Eagles won 54-33, with the Eagles winning 69-40.

Today the Lady Eagles play at home with Rocky Mountain at 2:30, while the Eagles play at Rocky.

GENERALS AND LADY GENERALS - The Sheridan College basketball teams played at Eastern Wyoming in Torrington last night. The Lady Generals lost 64-52; the Generals took down the Lancers 81-68. Today the Generals will play at Laramie County.

BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers took two duals from Riverton and Cody last night. Today they end the regular season at an Invitational in Gillette.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Colorado State tonight. You can hear the game on AM 1410 KWYO and 95.9 FM. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30.
