REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will open up their regional tournament against Cheyenne South the match will be played at 11:00 Friday morning. The north 4-A regional is being played at Cheyenne Central high school
The 2-A East regional will be played in Sheridan Friday and Saturday at Sheridan high school and Sheridan college.
The Tongue River Lady Eagles will face Pine Bluffs in an opening round match Friday at noon at Sheridan college.
The Big Horn Lady Rams will open the tournament Friday at noon against Burns that match will be played at Sheridan high school.
The All-class state volleyball championships get started a week from Thursday in Casper
CROSS COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams run at the Wyoming state cross country championships Saturday in Douglas.
SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers have this week off as the qualifiers prepare for the state championships next week in Gillette.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team will close out the regular season at Cheyenne East Friday night. It's an early start with the First Federal pregame show at 5:30 and kickoff at 6:00 the game will be broadcast live on am 14-10 KWYO.
Today we hear from two of the Bronc's team leaders Seniors Riley Ryan and Jordan Roberts.
Riley Ryan made a big decision last week making an early commitment to play college basketball at Black Hills state university in Spearfish, South Dakota, he says it's a good fit for him.
Back to football and even though they have the home field advantage wrapped up for the playoffs they still want to finish the regular season strong at Cheyenne East Friday night.
Senior Jordan Roberts Came to Sheridan in the middle of his Junior year last January from Gillette and he fit right in and Roberts says his time as a Broncs has been a lot of fun.
Roberts currently leads the 4-A in rushing at 1714 yards and a little over nine yards per carry, the Bronc running game has been huge through the first eight weeks of the season and Roberts says it's been a great team effort.
And he says even though they have the home field wrapped up they expect to play hard and finish strong in Cheyenne Friday.
The Big Horn Rams will close out their regular season this week at Newcastle Friday night. You can hear the Rams regular season finale live on 95.9 FM kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.
All high school football classes will begin the quarterfinal round of playoffs next Friday.
