The Big Horn Rams football team won the class 2A state championship Friday, defeating Mountain View 47-22. The win gives Big Horn their fourth state championship. Mountain View jumped out to a 6-0 lead after opening the game with an 80 yard drive that took nearly the entire first quarter off of the clock.

The lead would be short-lived however, as the Rams scored two touchdowns in under two minutes and never gave up the lead again. Rams Wide Receiver Christian Mayer scored five times for Big Horn, as he caught two touchdown passes and rushed for another. He also scored on an interception return and a kick return.

This is the first time Big Horn has won the title since they won back-to-back in 2003 and 2004. Tune in Monday, where we'll have more coverage of the Rams dominating performance against Mountain View.
