TROOPERS IN ACTION TONIGHT / LOCAL FOOTBALL CAMP OPENS

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 38-8 overall and unbeaten in six conference games they return to action tonight in a double header in Gillette.

The Troops have one last home date on their schedule this week, they are scheduled to host a double header with Riverton Sunday afternoon.

The first game is set to start at noon and we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO.

The Troopers end their regular season with a double header a week from today in Miles City.

Their district tournament starts on the 26th in Powell the state tournament starts on August 1st in Casper.

THURSDAY NIGHT'S WYO LEADERS / TROOPER BASEBALL / YOUTH FOOTBALL

WYO RODEO - Performance two of the Sheridan WYO rodeo was another good rodeo several fast times and big scores highlighted last night's action as we take a look at last night's performance leaders.

In Bareback riding Dustin Luper had a score of 76, in the Bronc riding Jesse Kruse score and 84 and in the Bull riding Cody Samora scored 85 with Brady Menge right behind with at 83.

Tommy Cook had the fast time Thursday night in the Bull Dogging at 4.6.

TROOPERS SWEEP TWO / WYO CONTINUES / YOUTH FOOTBALL

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers ran their record to 38-8 last night after sweeping a double header with Spearfish, South Dakota.

The Troops took a 1-0 lead in the 3rd inning Spearfish tied it at one on the 4th then took a 2-1 lead in the 5th, the Troop's bats warmed up as they scored four in the 6th to take a 5-2 lead and that would be the final score.

Skyler Dietsche had a big 2-RBI single to give the Troops the lead Cameron Harnish went 3-3 with a double and run score and Josh Loeske and Lucas Giesey each had RBI singles in the win.

2012 WYO RODEO BEGINS / LIVE TROOPER BASEBALL TONIGHT / YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP NEXT WEEK

WYO RODEO - The first performance of the 2012 Sheridan WYO rodeo is tonight at 7:00. Slack timed events begin at 9:00 this morning and tonight the WYO rodeo carnival opens for the first of four nights at 5:00

Thursday more slack timed events begin at 9:00 am and the second performance starts at 7:00.

Sheridan Media will be making our annual broadcast Friday morning starting at 6:00 at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast and finishing up with the WYO rodeo parade at 10:00.

WYO RODEO - The 2012 Sheridan WYO rodeo starts this morning at 7:00 with steer triping slack, tomorrow through Saturday slack will begin at 9 am.

BIG HORN POLO RESULTS

There were two tournament finals played on Sunday at the BHEC – 1:00 Coca-Cola Cup; and at 3:00 the Fremont Motor Challenge.

During the 3:00 game, the Iron Brotherhood rolled in with many motorcycles as the finish to their Poker Run, which benefited the Sheridan Senior Center.

They had also raffled off a coin set. In total they raised about $1,000 to donate to the Senior Center.

In the Coca-Cola Cup, Sheridan Seed Co. played Century 21 to and 8-8 tie. The teams opted not to play an Overtime Period, and Sheridan Seed won the game on a coin flip.
