2-A EAST REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams open the East regional tournament in Cheyenne Thursday, the Lady Eagles will open the tournament at 9 am against Lusk.

The Eagles will open the boys bracket at 10:30 against Southeast.

The Big Horn Lady Rams will open the tournament in the late game with Pine Bluffs at 7 pm. The Rams will take on Burns in their opener at 5:30.

1-A EAST REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont Panthers open the 1-A East regional at Sheridan high school Thursday against number one seed Lingle at 6 pm.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 2nd at the 4-A East regional tournament Saturday now they prepare for the state championships in Casper, matches begin Friday morning at 9:00 at the Casper events center.

BRONC SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers open their state championships in Gillette Friday.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams swept all four weekend games from Cheyenne South and Laramie, the games weren't very pretty but they were still victories, Lady Broncs Head coach Jessica Pickett.

SHS - We continue our conversation with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian today, the Bronc swimmers have had a very good season and will open the state championships a week from today.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play their final home games tonight, they will have senior night festivities between games with Cheyenne South.

SHS Sports facility construction project / Local sports week shaping up for some great action / Pokes and Cowgirls fall to Fresno state

SHS FACILITY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian made a visit to Sheridan media Wednesday and gave an update on the progress of the new locker room and training facility construction at Sheridan high school.

He told us that phase one of the project is really taking shape.

Phase two of the project will begin in March.


PING PONG - today we have an introduction to a new club being formed in Sheridan it's the sport of Ping Pong.

Brad Balmer of Sheridan has a life long love of the sport and is starting a local club, the club is open to all ages and skill levels, Balmer says Ping Pong is a world wide phenomena.

The first night of introduction will take place next week on Wednesday evening.

Next week they will have their first night of introduction to the new club at the YMCA.
