POKES GET TO 9-0 / SC IN ROAD ACTION TONIGHT

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams open conference play tonight at Little Bighorn community college.

These will be the first conference games of the season for both teams Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy says the season ramps up a bit tonight at Crow Agency.

Over the last several seasons the Lady Rams haven't been to much of a threat to the Lady Generals but McCarthy says Little Horn has changed as a program as they have begun to bring in better players and he says they are probably in for a good challenge tonight.

On the men's side Generals Head coach Steve Smiley says the Rams are no longer a team that other region nine teams can over look and think victories will be easy.

And Smiley says tonight's game starts a four game stretch to end the first half over the season and it's important for the Generals to finish
strong.

The Generals and Lady Generals will play at home Saturday against Northwest college at 3:00 and 5:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams will play Riverton at home Saturday. The girls varsity game will tip at 2:00 followed by the boys at 3:30 both games will be broadcast live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

BH BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams will play at a tournament this weekend both teams have records of 2-1 and will be in Wright Friday and Saturday.

TR BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will play at Rocky Mountain high school Friday over in the Big Horn Basin and return to Dayton for home games Saturday against Riverside.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will split up this week with the varsity goes to the Rapid City invitational and the JV's to a tournament in Forsyth, Montana .

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming cowboys are 9-0 a big come from behind win at Illinois state Tuesday night.

The pokes trailed by 19 points in the second half then finished the game on a 36-7 run and won 81-67. All five starters scored in double figures led by Larry Nance jr with 19 points. Illinois state Head coach Dan Mueller says they fell apart in the 2nd half.

The Pokes will look to to to 10-0 Saturday when they host Panhandle state at the Double "AA" we will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO pregame starts at 1:30 Tipoff is at 2:00.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls are 5-1 on the season they play at the University of Montana tomorrow night.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play tomorrow night at the Oakland Raiders you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is 5:30 with kickoff at 6:20.
