TROOPER BASEBALL / FREEDOM FEST / 2012 WYO RODEO KICKOFF

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 31-8 as they continue play today at a tournament in Rapid City.

The Troops lost two Monday night 6-3 to Canyon City, Colorado and Rapid City Post #320 10-2.

The tournament continues today then a few days off for the Troops before a trip to Cody to play the Cubs Sunday

The Troopers only have two more home dates on the schedule they host two with Spearfish next Wednesday that will be our next live radio broadcast as well then they'll have two with Riverton July 22nd.

The Full Moon Cup was played on Sunday July 1 at the Big Horn Equestrian Center. The winning team was Century 21 over Pony Bar & Grill by a score of 8-5.

MVP was Tiamo Hudspeth, playing for Pony Bar & Grill. Best Playing Pony was “Carta” owned by Wayne Garrison, played by Tiamo Hudspeth.

TROOPERS WIN LATE IN RAPID CITY / MORE TOURNEY PLAY TODAY

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 31-6 as they continue play today at a tournament in Rapid City.

The Troops lost two in Casper last Friday against Jackson and a team from Colorado Springs they came back yesterday late and ended the two game losing streak with a come from behind win against Vermillion, South Dakota.

The Troops had their 19 game winning streak snapped in Casper Friday Head coach Ben Phillips says they just couldn't get the big hit in both losses in Casper.

TROOPERS DROP TWO STRAIGHT / IN RAPID CITY TODAY

The Sheridan Troopers dropped two games in Casper against Jackson and Colorado Springs they stand at 30-6 as they begin play at a tournament today in Rapid City.

The Troops open today against Vermillion, South Dakota.They will play two Monday against Canyon City, Colorado and the host team post #320 from Rapid.

TROOPS LOOK TO EXTEND WINNING STEAK TODAY

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won 19 straight games and stand at 32-4 heading into a double header today in Casper.

There is no doubt the success the Troops have had this season has been amazing but Head coach Ben Phillips says it's not all about having a great winning
percentage.

And he says in the long run there are only four games that really count and those will be at the state tournament in Casper in early August.
