2014 Energy Bowl and Big Horn goes under the lights at home friday TR is on the road Saturday

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs host Gillette Friday night we will have the game for you live on 14-10 KWYO the First Federal savings bank pregame show will start at 6:30 with kickoff at 7:00.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams will host Thermopolis under the lights Friday night as the Rams under the new lighting system at their field.

The defending 2-A state champs are 4-0 mid way through the regular season and have been dominate in all four victories as McGuire says the team has graded out pretty good, with more room to improve moving ahead.

Volleyball and Tennis Thursday / Big night of Football Friday

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will host a match with Gillette Thursday night at 6:30. Saturday they will be in Billings for the annual "Border Wars" event with the three big Billings schools.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles have a home match with Sundance Friday and play at Wright Saturday.

The Big Horn Lady Rams host a match with Sundance Saturday.

The Sheridan college Lady Generals play at Northwest college tonight and will host Casper college Thursday at 7:00

Together SC the women earned 325 points in the breakaway roping and goat tying. Tioni Erickson led the women’s team by gathering 165 points and winning the championship buckle in the breakaway roping.

Erickson won the long round with a quick run of 2.9. She was a 4.3 in the short go which put her second in that round and split the average win with Casper College’s Rachel Taylor with a combined time of 7.2 on two calves.

Weekend Local sports wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs blew out Rock Springs 52-19 Friday night the Broncs and Natrona county are both 5-0 at the top of the 4-A standings.

This week is "Gillette Week" for the Broncs, Head coach Don Julian says their is a lot riding on Friday night's game.

The Broncs and Camels got at it in Sheridan Friday night kickoff will be at 7:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - Tongue River Eagles lost at home against Niobrara county, Ron Richter has the wrap up.

Buffalo, Kaycee HS Weekend Sports Wrap

Another busy high school sports weekend is in the books.

The BHS golf team was at their State Tournament in Cody over the weekend and the girls team came back with a third-place finish while the boys team took sixth.
Individually for the girls, the top finisher for the Lady Bison was Hannah Pfister, who finished tied for ninth place.
Pake Nimick was the top Bison finisher, tied for 14th.

In volleyball the Lady Bison dropped both of their matches this weekend, losing 2-0 to to Powell Friday night and 2-0 to Cody Saturday afternoon.

Lusk Ground Game Too Much for Eagles

The Tongue River Eagles football team hosted Lusk Friday afternoon in Dayton. The Eagles fell behind Lusk early in the game as the Tigers scored two first quarter touchdowns to jump out to a 13-0 lead. The momentum shifted in the second quarter, as Tongue River scored to cut the lead to 13-7 and were driving late in the first half when a fumble ended the drive. Lusk, as they did all afternoon, capitalized on the Eagles mistake and scored just before the half to extend their lead to 21-7.
