The Sheridan College volleyball coaching staff was pleased to announce that Casey McInerney from Clyde Park, MT has officially joined the Sheridan College Generals for their 2014 roster. McInerney is the fourth player to join the 2014 class as she will join the SC program that will look to build off of this year's 20-16 record.
Casey joins the Generals after a solid high school career where she excelled as a three sport athlete. Casey has earned all-league honors for the past three years in volleyball, track and basketball.
She has also earned all-state honors in all three sports the past two years. She was the volleyball team MVP her sophomore and junior year, most improved player her freshman year and player of the year her junior year. She was her school athlete of the year her junior year as well. Casey also excels in the classroom as she boasts a 3.75 GPA.
“Casey is a strong, athletic player that has a solid foundation of skills. She has a high IQ of the sport and fits in really well with our team dynamic. I am excited to see her growth here at Sheridan and to see the impact that she can have for us in any position. Said head coach Jennifer Stadler.
