NEW LADY BRONC HOOPS COACH VISITS SHERIDAN / BIG TOURNAMENT WEEKEND FOR THE TROOPERS

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - New Sheridan lady bronc basketball coach Jessica Cordingly visited Sheridan high school Monday.

Cordingly takes over the Lady Bronc program following season Yeager's announcement this spring he will be leaving Sheridan.

Cordingly was officially named the coach a week ago at the Sheridan school district two board meeting. She grew up in Thermopolis and has been coaching and teaching in California.

We sat down with Cordingly Monday and she is excited to be coming to Sheridan high school.

And she says the Lady Bronc program has a great winning tradition and she is looking forward to joining in that tradition.

She's a coach that stresses defense and likes an up tempo style of play.

Next month the players and the new coach will get a chance to really get to know each other as they go to some team camps and other off season activities.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will be in Gillette for a Memorial day weekend tournament which starts Friday and runs through Monday.

The Sheridan Jets will host a double header Saturday with Newcastle first game of the double header will be at 1:00.

Trooper baseball camp for all Sheridan county Little League and Webb Wright baseball players will be held at Thorne-rider stadium June 6th,7th and 8thfrom 9 am to noon each day. they will take registration at the stadium at 8:00 on the first day of the camp.

COLORADO ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies lost 5-1 to Arizona at Coors field last night. You can hear tonight's game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio pregame is at 6:05 with the first pitch at 6:40.
