GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan College Generals lost their first game of the season Friday at a tournament in Powell. Eastern Utah beat the Generals 85-75.
They came back Saturday with a win over Western Montana; head coach Steve Smiley comments.

This week is a short week with Thanksgiving Thursday. Smiley says they need some quality time in the gym over the nextthree days.
The annual Sheridan Lions Club Tournament will be played Friday and Saturday; it's a good chance to get out of the house and see some good basketball.

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Lady Generals opened the weekend with a 107-37 thrashing of Lakota Community College. They backed up that victory with another on Saturday, winning 84-48 over Rocky Mountain College.

Game times Friday and Saturday at the Lions Club Tournament are 1, 3, 5 and 7 pm. Tickets are available at the Hoffman Dome -- all-day tickets for adults are $6 and students get in for $3. The Lady Generals will play at 5:00 and the Generals at 7:00 both nights.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys lost at home to TCU Saturday 45-10. The Pokes' only touchdown was a 90-yard fumble return from Buffalo junior Chris Prosinski. TCU goes to 11-0, and remains ranked 4th in the BCS standings.

The Cowboys fall to 5-6 on the season with one game to play Friday afternoon at Colorado State. The game is scheduled to kick off at noon, and we will have it live on AM 1410 KWYO.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys beat up Boise State Saturday night 87-61. The Pokes are 2-1, and will play Wednesday night at Denver University. They play at home Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the World Vision Challenge Tournament.

We will broadcast the Cowboys football and basketball double-header Friday with the CSU football game at noon and the basketball game against Monmouth University at 7:00.

BRONCOS FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos couldn't get out the starting gate yesterday, and lost their lead in the AFC West, losing to San Diego 32-3. Denver is now 6-4 and on a 4-game losing streak. It's a short week for the Broncos as they host the New York Giants Thanksgiving night. We will broadcast the game live on KWYO.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS - The winter high school sports season begins with regular season action Friday, December 4th. The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open at home with games against Green River.

The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams also open December 4th. The Eagles and Lady Eagles will play at a tournament in Thermopolis, and the Rams and Lady Rams will play at a tournament in Lusk.

The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers open their season at a 2-day tournament in Powell starting December 4th as well.

The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers will open the season with their first practice a week from today. Their first competition of the season will take place December 11th and 12th in Casper and Gillette.

LIVE BROADCAST SCHEDULE - We start Wednesday with Wyoming basketball at Denver University at 6:30.

Thanksgiving night the Denver Broncos host the NY Giants -- pre-game starts at 5:30.

Friday, we have two games with the Wyoming / CSU football game -- pre-game is at 11 am; kick-off is at noon. Then the basketball Cowboys play at 7:00 against Monmouth University.

Saturday and Sunday we have more Cowboy hoops: Saturday night broadcast time is 7:00 and Sunday afternoon is at 2:30. All games listed will be broadcast on AM 1410 KWYO, with the Cowboy basketball games Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights broadcast on 95.9 FM as well.
