BRONC AND LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - No problem for the Broncs and Lady Broncs as they both blew out Riverton. The Lady Broncs got off to a sluggish start but rolled in the second half. Head coach Derek Bissitt They took the game 65-36 to go to 4-0 on the season. This week they head out on the road for the first time for three games at the “Flaming Gorge” Classic in Green River. They will play Rock Springs, Kemmerer and Jackson.

The Broncs beat Riverton 74-45. They were up 27-25 and went on a 9-0 run to end the first half, and jumped the lead to 25 by the end of the 3rd quarter. The Bronc defense was a big factorin the win. That's head coach Mike Ibach, who says they are sharing the ball well and using their depth.

This week the Broncs will also play in Green River; they will play Rock Springs, Jackson and Salmon, Idaho.

RAMS AND LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams are 6-0 after going 3-0 at a tournament in Glenrock. The Rams are 4-2 overall after going 1-2 at a tournament in Wright.

EAGLES AND LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles swept weekend games with Rocky Mountain and Riverside. After beating Rocky Friday, the Eagles went over to Basin and blew out Riverside 75-35, while the Lady Eagles beat up Riverside in Dayton 60-20.

GENERALS AND LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Generals and Lady Generals split their weekend games; both lost at Casper Friday and came back with victories over Gillette Saturday.

Generals freshman guard Jarrell Crayton says they needed a good comeback after losing at Casper. And what did he expect in the new rival game withGillette?

The first half of the season is now over for the Generals and Lady Generals; they get back into action January 8th.

SHERIDAN HAWKS HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks high school hockey team dropped a 4-2 game with Casper yesterday. Coach Bob Viren. The Hawks are now off until after the first of the year, and Viren says they need more ice time to make a good run at a state titlein 2010.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Northern Colorado in Casper Saturday 76-70. They are now 5-4 overall and head to Knoxville, Tennessee to play the “Volunteers” tomorrow. You can hear the game live on our sister stations AM 1410 KWYO and 95.9 FM. Broadcast time is 4:30.
