FOOTBALL - The Bronc football took it on the chin against Natrona county Friday the Mustangs shut down the Broncs and took the game 38-13 Broncs Head coach Don Julian.

Julian says that NC defense made it tough on every one.

This week the Broncs head back to Cheyenne to play Cheyenne South.

The Bison have struggled to be competitive through their first two season's of 4-A football but Julian says the Broncs need to play well this week to get some confidence back as the regular season moves forward.

The Big Horn Rams blew out Greybull on the road 49-6 this week the Rams play at home hosting Burns Friday afternoon.

The Tongue River eagles lost 56-0 at Lyman Friday the Eagles will play their first home game in more than a year Friday when they host Glenrock. We will broadcast the game live for you on 87.7 ESPN radio kickoff in Dayton is set for 4:00.

The Wyoming Cowboys lost 37-17 at Texas Saturday the Pokes play at home Saturday afternoon. They host the Toledo Rockets you can hear the game live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 1:00 with kickoff at 2:00.

The Denver Broncos open the regular season at home against Pittsburgh Sunday it's an evening game with our broadcast beginning at 4:05.

VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team lost in the 5th place game in their bracket at the Gillette invitational losing to Buffalo.

The Lady Broncs head out on the road this week for conference matches in Cheyenne.

The Big Horn and Tongue River volleyball teams were also in Gillette the Lady Rams lost in their 7th place match against Rock Springs and the Lady Eagles won their 5th place match against Green River.

This week the Lady Rams and Lady Eagles meet in conference play Thursday night in Dayton.

Big Horn will host their own invitational tournament Friday and Saturday Tongue River will be one of several teams competing.

X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country runners hosted the "Michelle Ludwig" invitational last Friday.

The Lady Broncs finished 5th with Katie Rottelini the top finisher in 19th place.

The Broncs were also 5th Kyle Dietsche finished 9th overall.

This week both teams compete at an invite in Gillette Friday.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers played in the Powell / Cody invitational.

The Broncs finished 5th Jack Mavrakis led the way with a 5th place finish, Ben Wollenzien was 8th and also carded a hole in one during the tournament. The lone Lady Bronc golfer was Hillary Lindell.

This week the Broncs and Lady Broncs play in the buffalo invitational Friday and Saturday.

TENNIS - The Sheridan high school tennis teams will spend this week at home with matches Thursday afternoon against Gillette matches start at 4:00.

They host the Cheyenne schools Friday and host Laramie and Riverton Saturday.
