LOCAL SPORTS SCENE LOADED WITH ACTION THIS WEEK

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play Laramie tomorrow and Cheyenne South Saturday. the Lady Broncs play on the road while the Broncs host the Plainsmen and Bison.

The Lady Broncs are in a three way tie with Gillette and Cheyenne East for the conference lead head coach Sean Yeager.

They have a pretty good test coming up on the road starting with Laramie tomorrow night.

As the second half of conference play begins and just five games left in the regular season we start looking ahead to the regional tournament and tournament seeding Broncs head coach Gale Smith.

They host Laramie tomorrow night and Smith says the Broncs need a much better showing against the plainsmen than they had in Laramie three weeks ago.

We will have the Broncs on live tomorrow night at 7:30 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio and Saturday at 2:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

TR / BH BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn will begin weekend action playing conference games in Dayton tomorrow night varsity games will be at 4:30 and 6:00.

SCBASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals plat at home Saturday they host games with Central Wyoming games will be at 3:00 and 5:00.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming cowboys played a non-conference game last night at Cal-state Bakersfield and broke their four game losing streak with a 61-53 victory. Next up for the Pokes a game at Boise state Saturday night.

The Cowgirls are 6-2 in league play at 17-4 overall their next game is at home Saturday night with Boise state.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers host a conference dual with Gillette tonight at 7:00 and end the regular season Saturday hosting a dual with Cheyenne Central at 2:00.

The wrestling regional tournament is next week in Laramie followed by the state championships in Casper.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will open their conference meet tomorrow in Casper at Kelly Walsh high school.

INDOOR TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams are off this week , next week 30 qualifiers will travel to the Simplot games in Pocatello, Idaho.

WYOMING SHRINE BOWL - The 2013 Shrine bowl will be played in June, on the north squad from Sheridan county include Sheridan Broncs will be Colin Eisenman, Mitch Godwin and Nate Kane.

From Big Horn Matt Wigglesworth, Lucas Wollenman and Will O'Dell. The north team's Head coach is Micheal McGuire from Big Horn.
