BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams have conference games this weekend with Cheyenne South and Laramie the Broncs will be on the road the Lady Broncs at home.

Following play on the opening weekend of the season Lady Broncs Head coach Tom Racette says overall it was a pretty good start.

And he says it was good to get four matches over two days for his young squad.

They open conference play this week with matches Friday and Saturday with Cheyenne South and Laramie and Racette says it will be contrasting styles in both matches.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams are coming off top five finishes in their first outdoor meet of the season the Lady Broncs had two champions at the Natrona county invite and Head coach Art Bauers says over all they had a good day.

They will compete this week at a meet in Cody Saturday.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are scheduled to open spring practice Monday with the first tournament of the spring in Worland April 5th.

TROOPER / JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan American Legion baseball will host their annual player / parent meeting tomorrow night.

The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm in the Sheridan high school cafeteria all Jets and Troopers players and parents are asked to attend.

The Troops open their season at home Saturday, April 27th against Cody we will broadcast the home opener live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

The Jets open on the road Saturday, May 4th in Billings their home opener will be May 5th against Gillette.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys will play the CBI basketball tournament.

The 16 team tournament opens tonight with the Pokes hosting Patriot league member Lehigh University from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls play Northern Colorado in the first round of the WNIT Thursday night. The Cowgirls will host the game and we will have it live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame starts at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

The Cowgirls won the 2007 WNIT beating Wisconsin in the championship game in front of over 15,000 fans..
