Lady Generals play tough in loss and get ready to host another weekend tourney

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals fell to 2-4 on the season losing last night to North Idaho it was their third ranked opponent in their last four games North Idaho is ranked 4th in the country this week.

The Lady Generals started fast going out to a 12-3 lead but North Idaho reeled them in and took the Halftime lead and pulled away in the second half winning 85-70.

Head coach Frank McCarthy says playing high caliber teams will only make them better later in the season. And for the most part he says he was pleased with how the Lady Generals competed against a bigger and more experienced team.

They will spend the weekend at home hosting a tournament sponsored by State Farm insurance. game times tomorrow night will be at 5:00 and 7:00 and Saturday afternoon at 1:00 and 3:00.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Generals are 3-0 they play at a tournament this weekend at Northwest college in Powell both teams will be at home next weekend as the host teams of the Lions club tournament

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are 1-1 on the season and will play at home tonight against North Florida. You can hear the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time is at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

WYOMING FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys will close out their season at home Saturday afternoon against Colorado state. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.

SHS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Broncs and Lady Broncs will open the 2010-11 basketball season at home Friday December 3rd. We are proud to announce this season we will be providing live play by play coverage of all the Bronc and Lady Bronc games home and away. we will be using both AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM to deliver the games to you.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will open up their season at a tournament in Powell beginning December 3rd.
