LADY GENERALS DAVIS TO THE COWGIRLS / TRACK / GOLF/ SOCCER / BASEBALL

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - Sheridan college Lady Generals Sophomore point guard Jasmine Davis will sign today to play basketball for the University of Wyoming Cowgirls it will mark the second straight year a Lady Generals player signed with Wyoming.

Davis follows former Lady General Fallon Lewis on the squad which will have for players from Sheridan county. The Cowgirl roster for the coming season includes former Lady Bronc's Kayla Woodward and incoming freshmen Hailey Ligocki.

Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy says it's great for Davis, Sheridan college and the University of Wyoming.

Davis will officially sign her national letter of intent this afternoon at Sheridan college.

TRACK / FIELD - All state track qualifiers will compete at the Wyoming Track Classic Friday at Casper Kelly Walsh high school 15 Sheridan county athletes have earned the right to compete.

Eight from Sheridan high school four from Big Horn high school and three from Tongue River high school.

Sheridan high school track coach Art Bauers says it's a great honor for these athletes to participate in the Classic.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are scheduled for tournament play in Powell Friday and the Buffalo Saturday.

SHS golf coach Larry Martoglio says the spring weather has been tough on the golfers and they are hopeful they will get a chance to "Tee it up" this week.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play conference matches with Cheyenne East and Central Friday and Saturday the girls will be at home this week the Broncs will travel.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open the 2013 season Saturday at Thorne-Rider stadium in a double header with Cody. The first pitch will be tossed out at 1:00 and we will have the opener live on 14-10 KWYO.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies and Atlanta Braves played two yesterday the Braves swept the double header. Today's game can be heard this afternoon on 87.7 FM ESPN radio broadcast time is at 12:30.
