STATE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS - The Sheridan Lady Bronc tennis team finished 2nd in the state tournament behind Gillette.

In number one singles Noelle Golinvaux made it to the finals but had to settle being the runner up, in number two singles Rachel Wood fought her way back through the consolation bracket and finished as the consolation winner.

The number one doubles team of Haley King and Emily Berry lost in the semi finals and came back to win the consolation bracket

The number two doubles team of Gigi Ruskowski and Hailey Ligocki ran the table going unbeaten during the regular season and winning the state title and in number three doubles is Cameron street and Keri Bulkey finished as the runner up.

Head coach Bob Farout says the Lady Broncs really exceeded season expectations. And the girls really turned the season around when they faced Gillette in a regular season dual and won that match.

Gigi Ruskowski and Hailey Ligocki were the only state champions and Farout says that they had to work hard and had a great season.

And finally he says the Lady Broncs had a great post season winning the regional tournament and making an outstanding run at the state championships.

The Broncs finished in 13th place overall and were eliminated from competition on Friday.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams beat Thermopolis 42-7 Friday and will be the new number one ranked 2-A football team this week Head coach Bert Dow says he is proud of the Rams. The Rams play at Moorcroft Friday.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Laramie 35-0 to go to 5-1 on the season they host Evanston Friday night, the Red Devils are also 5-1 and it's homecoming for Sheridan high school this week Head coach Don Julian is expecting a great game Friday night.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles lost at Wright Friday 33-13 this week the Eagles will play at home against Newcastle Friday afternoon.

BISON FOOTBALL - The Buffalo Bison clobbered Riverton 49-22 Friday the Bison are 4-1 overall and will play Wheatland at home Friday.

UW FOOTBALL - The University of Wyoming cowboys beat Toledo 20-15 Saturday to break and three game losing skid this week the pokes get back into conference play at TCU.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team lost three matches at the Border wars in Billings Saturday this week the Lady Broncs play at home Friday and Saturday against Laramie and Kelly Walsh.

LADY RAMS VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams volleyball beat Worland and Thermopolis last week this week the Lady Rams host matches with Wright and Moorcroft.

LADY EAGLES VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles volleyball team will host Sundance and Moorcroft.

SHS X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams did well at the Billings invitational the Broncs tied for first place and Dylan Morin won the boys race Head coach Art Bauers.

The Lady Broncs had a strong day as well finishing 3rd overall. This week the Broncs and Lady Broncs run at meet in Helena, Montana.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers beat both Casper schools in duals last Thursday this week they host another double dual with Riverton and Cody on Friday.
