The Lady Bronc tennis team is off to a good start at the state tournament

STATE HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS - The Sheridan Lady Bronc tennis team sits in 2nd place after this first day the state tennis championships. They went 9-1 in matches yesterday.

Tn number one singles Noelle Golinvaux made it to the semi finals and in number two singles Rachel Wood won her first match but lost in the quarter finals and will play her way through the consolation bracket.

All three doubles teams won two matches yesterday will will play in the semi finals today. The number one doubles team is Haley King and Emily Berry, number two doubles is Gigi Ruskowski and Hailey Ligocki and number three doubles is Cameron Street and Keri Bulkey.

The Broncs are in 12th place as they begin play today in singles play Reed Ritterbusch and Paxton Marosok are in the consolation bracket along with doubles teams Malik Grant and Brad Peterson and Cameron Ellis and Logan Garstad. The number three doubles team of Grant Ritterbusch and Nate Estes were eliminated with two losses yesterday.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team heads to Laramie trying to bounce back from last Friday's overtime loss against Gillette.

The Broncs are 4-1, Laramie is 0-5. Last week the Broncs ran the ball well against the Camels and Head coach Don Julian says they want to continue that against the Plainsmen.

Laramie has struggled all season and Julian says the big key for the Broncs is getting off early.

RAMS FOOTBALL - One of the big high school football games of the week will take place this afternoon at Homer Scott stadium. The number two Big Horn Rams host number one Thermopolis both teams are unbeaten.

The Bobcats are the defending state champs Rams Head coach Bert Dow says they have many tough games ahead on their schedule but today's game is huge for the Rams.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 you'll be able to hear the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO with Ron Richter handling the play by play.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles will be on the road at Wright tonight and the NSI Wolves play at Southeast.

BISON FOOTBALL - The Buffalo Bison will play their second straight on the road tonight at Riverton.

UW FOOTBALL - The University of Wyoming Cowboys will try and break a three game losing streak tomorrow with a road game at the University of Toledo. You can hear the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time is at 4:00 with kickoff at 5:00

BORDER WARS VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team will join Casper Kelly Walsh and Gillette in Billings for matches tomorrow in the annual Montana Border Wars against the Billings schools.

LADY RAMS VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams volleyball team will play their homecoming volleyball match with Thermopolis this evening at 6:00.

LADY EAGLES VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles volleyball team will open play today at a tournament hosted by Riverside and Greybull high schools.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals will host Wyoming conference matches tonight and tomorrow against Eastern Wyoming and Laramie county. Tonight they play at 7:00 and tomorrow afternoon at 3:00.

BRONC AND LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will run tomorrow at a big invitational meet in Billings.
