LADY BRONC SOCCER PICKS UP ANOTHER CONFERENCE WIN

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team beat Casper Kelly Walsh in their make up game last night in Casper.

The Lady Broncs shut out the Trojans 2-0 and now prepare to close out the regular season at home Friday and Saturday against the Cheyenne schools.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs are sitting in pretty good shape to pick up an automatic bid into the state tournament but must play well this weekend.

They sit in 2nd place in the conference race and need one victory to secure the 2nd overall seed.

They play at East and Central Head coach Kevin Riser says the Broncs have put themselves in a great position with two games to play.

And it's nice for the team to have it's destiny in their own hands heading to Cheyenne Friday.

Overall the Broncs have had a good season with their only slip losing two at Kelly Walsh and Laramie a couple of weeks ago but they rebounded from those losses to regain their momentum.

The Broncs will play at their regional tournament next week in Laramie while the Lady Broncs will play at their regional in Casper.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers play at an 18 hole tournament in Riverton Friday and another one round event in Casper Saturday.

The Bronc and Lady Broncs will host their own invitational next Tuesday at Kendrick golf course, that meet will end the regular season.

The spring high school golf season will end in two weeks at the conference tournament in Cheyenne.

TRACK AND FIELD - The track and field regular season ends this week next week on Friday and Saturday Sheridan high school will host regional track.

All 4-A, 2-A and 1-A east teams will be in Sheridan for the two day event which gets underway next Friday morning.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play their home opener this week with a double header against Powell we will be broadcasting the opener live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

The first pitch is scheduled to be tossed out at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.
