The Buffalo Lady Bison basketball team split their games last weekend, losing to Wheatland Friday but bouncing back to down Torrington on Saturday.
Friday at Wheatland, Buffalo dropped a close game to the Lady Bulldogs 51-46.
Dallas Shaw led Buffalo with 18 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Kasi litzel had 13 points, Leah Groteluschen had seven, Kinzi Litzel had five and Brianna Kirkeeng had three. Groteluschen had 11 rebounds for the Bison.
Buffalo shot 38 percent from the floor to Wheatland's 49 percent, and Buffalo committed 16 turnovers to the Bulldogs' 14 and Wheatland outrebounded the Bison 28-21 which was the difference in the game.
On Saturday the Lady Bison took on Torrington and dropped the Lady Trailblazers 71-66.
Shaw again led Buffalo with 34 points, five assisits, six rebounds and five steals.
Groteluschen had 18 points, Kasi Litzel had eight, Britt Kovar had seven and Kirkeeng had four.
Kovar hit three of four free throws late in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory.
Buffalo shot 55 percent from the floor, Torrington shot just 34 percent.
Buffalo committed 25 turnovers to just 20 for Torrington.
The Lady Trailblazers outrebounded Buffalo 27-21.
Coming up on Friday the girls play their sixth straight road game as they head to Rawlins to play the Lady Outlaws.
Saturday they will host Thermopolis.
