Athletes at Buffalo and Kaycee High Schools were in competition this weekend and most had a good weekend overall.
The Bison boys' and girls' basketball teams hosted the 4A Riverton Wolverines Friday night and the varsity teams split their games.
The girls downed the Lady Wolverines 46-43 while the boys fell 56-45.
Next up for the teams is the Flaming Gorge Tournament this weekend in Green River.
The Kaycee Buckaroos were in Glenrock for the Herder Classic, finishing with a 1-2 record by beating Wright 57-52, then losing to Big Horn 69-30 and Glenrock 51-35.
The Lady Bucs were at the Coalminer Classic in Wright where they beat Wright 57-52 and fell to Southeast 52-22. They were scheduled to play Lusk Saturday but no score is yet available.
Buffalo's wrestling team was at the Rapid City Invite and had a tough go over the weekend. The six wrestlers one one match between them finishing with no points in the team standings.
And the boys' swim team was at the Casper Relays and the Gillette Pentathlon but no results are available from either meet.
