It was a busy weekend sports-wise for both Buffalo and Kaycee high Schools' athletes as all fall sports teams were in action.
The Buffalo Bison football team traveled to Worland on Friday to open their season at Worland and came home with a disappointing 34-22 loss to the Warriors.
Buffalo is 0-1 on the season, and next up fro them is their home opener this Friday as they host the Powell Panthers.
The Lady Bison Volleyball team opened the Gillette Invitational Tournament with a 2-0 loss to Rawlins that dropped them into the Bronze Bracket where they lost 2-0 to Laramie and lost 2-0 to Green River.
They will be at the Rawlins Invite this weekend.
The Bison Golf team had a great showing at Torrington this weekend as Hannah Pfister won the individual girls' title, the girls team took the team title and the boys had three finish in the top 10 and finish second as a team. Tristan Hepp took third, Taylor Hepp finished seventh and Tyler Shreve eighth for the boys.
The cross country team and girls swim team were also in action, and we'll have results when they become available.
The Kaycee Buckaroos football team traveled to take on Wyoming Indian and came home with a 77-26 win.
Next up is an away game at Hanna/Elk Mountain on Friday.
Finally the Kaycee Lady Bucs Volleyall team dropped their home match to Hulett Friday 3-0.
They are at Tensleep on Tuesday.
