The Sheridan Jets earn a split with Cody

SHERIDAN JETS BASEBALL – The Jets played Cody last night and earned a split in the double header at Thorne-rider stadium. Cody took the first game but the Jets came back and built up a comfortable lead in the second game and held off the Cubs 9-7. Head coach Ryan Murner says the players came back and got the job done in the late game.

The Jets have just 10 games left in their regular season before heading to Casper for their state tournament Murner says they need to use these next three weeks to get ready with not many games to play.

And finally he says this group really needs to knuckle down and prepare themselves for the state tournament.

The Jets play two in Billings tomorrow, their next home date is July 10th.

The Troopers play their next four on the road, they head to Cody tomorrow and Riverton Monday before returning home next Wednesday in a double header with Sturgis, South Dakota

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Troopers have 20 games left in the regular season. they will play in their district tournament in Cody starting July 22nd. The top four teams qualify for the state tournament scheduled to be played at Thorne-rider stadium beginning July 28th.

BIG HORN POLO - Along with hosting the 4th of July celebration Sunday the Big Horn Equestrian Center will host Polo matches tomorrow.

The Big Horn polo club will host the “Moncrieffe Cup” tomorrow at 1:00 and the “D.A. Davidson Cup” at 3:00. admission is free.
