THE SHERIDAN LIONS CLUB HOSTS THEIR ANNUAL HOOPS TOURNEY THIS WEEK

LIONS CLUB COLLEGE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - The Sheridan college basketball teams will be the hosts for the annual Sheridan Lions club tournament games will be Friday and Saturday at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00.

The Lady generals are 5-3 overall and will host Gillette, Little Big Horn and Fort Carson Academy while the Generals are 5-0 and will host Northwest college, Little Big Horn and Rocky Mountain college.

Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy has the Lady Generals at 5-3 and sees the team making progress. And McCarthy says the freshmen have made the adjustment to the college game pretty well.

The Generals are off to a 5-0 start Head coach Steve Smiley says the Generals have made great strides over the last couple of weeks as well.

Most of the victories have been by a wide point margin which means good minutes for all the players and that has helped the freshmen get used to their roles with the team.

Again game times Friday and Saturday will be at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 in the Hoffman Dome at Sheridan college

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the season together hosting games with Green River Friday, December 3rd.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams will open the season playing at a tournament hosted by Lusk and the Tongue River basketball teams will be at a tournament hosted by Thermopolis those events begin December 3rd.

BUFFALO BASKETBALL - The Buffalo Bison and Lady Bison will play the Broncs and Lady Broncs on December 10th. The Broncs will host the boys game while the girls play in Buffalo.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play Missouri tonight in Cancun, Mexico you can hear the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time will be at 4:30 with the tip at 5:00.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos lost at San Diego last night Phillip Rivers threw four touchdown passes and the chargers scored 35 straight points in the 35-14 win. The 3-7 Broncos play at home Sunday afternoon against St. Louis.
