IT'S ANOTHER BUSY WEEKEND ON THE LOCAL SPORTS SCENE

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will compete in a final regular season meet today in Gillette the regional meet for all 4-A , 2-A and 1-A East teams will be in Sheridan for two days beginning a week from today.

Bronc and Lady Bronc Head coach Art Bauers says both teams have had a pretty good spring.

Monday eight athletes qualified and competed in the Wyoming track classic in Casper and Bauers says they did very well.

As for today's meet in Gillette Bauers says they have several athletes will a chance to meet state qualifying standards.

And he says they are all looking forward to next week when Sheridan high school hosts the regional track meet.

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team will close out the regular season at home tonight against Cheyenne East and Saturday against Cheyenne Central.

The JV's play at 4:00 with the varsity at 6:00 against the T-birds tomorrow's matches have been moved an hour later, the JV's will play Cheyenne Central tomorrow at 11:00 with the varsity going at 1:00.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs play at East tonight and Central tomorrow afternoon. Next week the Broncs will play at their regional tournament in Laramie while the Lady Broncs will play at their regional in Casper.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers play in Riverton today and in Casper tomorrow.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will end the regular season hosting their own invitational next Tuesday at Kendrick golf course.

The spring high school golf season will end next weekend at the conference tournament in Cheyenne.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan troopers will play their home opener tomorrow with a double header against Powell we will be broadcasting the opener live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

The first pitch is scheduled to be tossed out at 1:00.
