BABE RUTH BASEBALL - The Sheridan 13 year old Babe Ruth baseball all-stars will host their state tournament starting this afternoon at Thorne-Rider stadium the title game will be played tomorrow the winner advances to the Northwest regional tournament in Helena. Montana.

JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan will host the 2014 class "B" American Legion state tournament next week at Thorne-Rider stadium the Sheridan Jets are the defending champs. The tournament will start Thursday and run through Sunday.

The 2014 Wyoming State Babe Ruth 13U Tournament will be held in Sheridan Friday and Saturday

Troopers drop two / Local golf / Football camp / 3 on 3 volleyball tournament / Youth soccer registration

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped both ends of Wednesday night's double header with Casper, the Oilers won 16-7 and 9-2

They will close out the regular season with a road trip to Cheyene next week then onto the Double "AA" state tournament in Gillette on July 30th.

JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan will host the 2014 class "B" American Legion state tournament next week at Thorne-Rider stadium the Sheridan Jets are the defending champs.

The tournament will start Thursday and run through Sunday.

2014 NEVER FLINCH ANNUAL SUMMER SLAM VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT COMING AUGUST 2ND

The Annual Summer Slam is a 3-on-3, co-ed, grass volleyball tournament intended to help those in need. This year the Summer Slam will raise funds for the Weston Johnson Memorial Scholarship.

Where: Sheridan YMCA, 417 N. Jefferson St. Sheridan WY

When: Saturday August 2nd, 2014 Captains Meeting 7:45 AM Play begins at 8:00 AM

Troopers host Casper tonight / Jets sweep two v Casper / Youth sports camps / City golf championships next week

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their final final home date today when they host two with Casper the first game will start at 5:00.

The Troops played Casper tough on the road but lost both games and will try an get those two back tonight.

Head coach Ben Phillips the Oilers have a very good team and they expect of good battle tonight.

The Troops are two weeks out from the state tournament as they look to build momentum towards the tournament.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers beat Laramie Monday afternoon 10-2 and will play their final home date of the season tomorrow.

The Troops banged out 13 hits with Connor McCafferty going four for four with a triple and three singles.

Blake Godwin started the game and got the win with relief help from McCafferty Head coach Ben Phillips says it was a good solid victory.

Godwin started the game and had a good outing keeping the troops in through six innings.

LOCAL BAREBACK RIDER RIDES THE WYO - Former Sheridan high school football player and wrestler Devan Reilly was the first bareback rider out of the chutes Saturday night, Reilly was a member of the last Bronc state championship in football back in 2011 and last month placed 6th in the CNFR bareback riding.
