FOOTBALL AWARDS - The Sheridan Broncs are well represented on this year's awards list. The All-State selections first team Austin Woodward at QB and Punter; Will Hendrickson WR and DB; Micheal Leibrich O-line and D-lin; JC Hespe O-line; TJ Stender WR; Kody Williams Return Specialist; Devan Reilly LB; and Drew Slikker as the All-State Kicker. Woodward was also honored as the state's Offensive Player of the Year.

Other Sheridan County All-State selections include in Class 2-A Colby Wollenman; Michael Klepperich and Cole Ponce from Big Horn and Andrew Orchard from Tongue River.

The Casper Star Tribune will host their annual "Super 25" banquet tonight. Four Sheridan Broncs made the list this fall -- they are: Austin Woodward, Will Hendrickson, Kody Williams and TJ Stender.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs will have a youthful team this year. They return three players that saw plenty of varsity time a year ago, as Kayla Woodward, Stephanie Sessions and Ricki Ryan return. Head coach Derek Bissitt says they won't be the only young team in the league.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs are the opposite of the Lady Broncs, as coach Mike Ibach returns four starters and looks to be as many as 10 deep off the bench. The Broncs made it to the State Tournament last spring and now are looking to make an even bigger splash in March, 2010.

BRONC WRESTLING - Quality rather than quantity may describe the Sheridan Bronc wrestlers this season. The Broncs might be around 20 wrestlers this fall, but they return some seasoned guys from last year. Head coach Terry Burgess says they are easing them into the season this week.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Sheridan College Generals will play two games at a tournament in Powell starting tonight with Eastern Utah and ending it with Western Montana College tomorrow night.

The Lady Generals are hosting the “State Farm” Classic this weekend. There will be two games in the Hoffman Dome tonight at 5 and 7. The Lady Generals will play Ogala Lakota College tonight at 7. Tomorrow, games are at 1 and 3 with the Lady Generals playing Rocky Mountain College.
Next week, both teams will be the hosts for the annual Sheridan Lions Club Thanksgiving Tournament on the 27th and 28th.

UW FOOTBALL / BASKETBALL - We will have a live Wyoming football and basketball double-header tomorrow on AM 1410 KWYO. The Wyoming football Cowboys play TCU at War Memorial Stadium tomorrow. The pregame show will start at 11:00 with kick-off at noon.

The basketball Cowboys also play at home tomorrow; they host Boise State tomorrow night. Broadcast time is at 6:30.

NFL - The Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers are tied for the lead in the AFC West with 5-3 records. They meet at Mile High Sunday afternoon; you can hear it live on KWYO starting with the Bronco pregame at 1:00.
